MMRDA has decided to develop a Sports Complex on a vacant plot admeasuring 12427 sqm. out of CTS No. 531 of Dharavi Division, 'H' Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex. A design and project management consultant would be appointed for preparing detailed architectural plans, working drawings, engineering design, cost estimates and for providing supervision during construction.

The total cost of the project including administrative building, landscaping and consultation charges is expected to be around Rs. 15 million. It is proposed to hand over the Sports Complex to Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra for maintenance and operations.
